Biography
1985–1992
Wolverine Consistory No. 6 · Valley of Detroit · Orient of Michigan
Illustrious Alexander's election to this office cemented him in the pantheon of Prince Hall legend by being the only Mason who has been legitimately elected, duly installed, and successfully served in all three sovereign seats—Grand Master, Imperial Potentate, and Sovereign Grand Commander. He streamlined secretarial functions by introducing an identical recordkeeping system through the jurisdiction for the Consistories. The Benevolent Foundation was formally incorporated as a nonprofit entity. He was accorded Sovereign Grand Commander Emeritus status. Illustrious Alexander is the second Sovereign Grand Commander to belong to Wolverine Consistory No. 6. The Class of 1995 is named in his honor. There is a Consistory in the Valley of Bamberg (Germany), Orient of Europe named in his honor.
