Illustrious Oldham held on to the brass ring for only 2 years. However, in that time he continued to guide the United Supreme Council on firm grounds established by his predecessors. He has the notable distinction of reclassifying the most Sovereign Grand Inspectors General, of all grades, at a single Annual Session. He is the second Sovereign Grand Commander to hold membership in a Consistory belonging to the Orient of Indiana. He was accorded Sovereign Grand Commander Emeritus status. The Class of 2011 is named in his honor.
